NALAS offers a new e-Learning course on organising a deliberative process at the local level.
This course will equip local authorities with the knowledge, skills and competences to understand what goes into organising effective, inclusive, and impactful deliberative processes – an innovative form of citizen participation, being increasingly used by local governments throughout Europe, mostly in the form of a citizens’ assembly. The course explains why commitment to deliberative democracy is important and offers a rationale for local decision makers for commissioning these processes.
The delivery of this e-learning course is planned to start on 22 September 2025, with an introductory webinar at 10.00h CET.
Interested participants can apply through their respective Associations until 17 September 2025.
