  • NALAS Second Summer School on Local Governance and Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations 08.07.2015

    The second edition of NALAS’ Summer School on Local Governance and Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations and Urban Governance will be devoted to Property taxation in South East Europe. A series of Quick response activities in the past year were related to Property tax reforms and revealed that virtually all NALAS members are facing new legislative initiatives in this area, and that there is great interest both in understanding regional trends and in developing. Therefore the Summer School will be a combination of training and peer-exchange on current reforms of the property taxation in the region.

  • Sustainable Tourism Task Force Meeting 28.05.2015

    Goals of the meeting:  - Updates on country developments in the area of sustainable tourism by each TF member  - Draft a concept for project activities related to  a regional tourism project that is being developed within SEE2020 strategy - Promote the finalized toolkit "Green Destinations SEE" and discuss the next steps towards its utilization by local governments in SEE, also create a concept for a capacity building programme for its utilization, including pilot- projects for self-assessment and certification, based on the toolkit - Learn about the Slovene experience with certification of sustainable destinations by utilization of toolkits similar to "Green destinations SEE" - Learn about new and innovative trends in tourism product development in Slovenia (visit to tourism incubator)
