Iva Mihajlovska joined NALAS in December 2023 at the position of Project Officer. She is an experienced professional with over 17 years of experience in social work and policy. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Policy from the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. Her expertise spans legal and social research, human rights, social protection and policy development, particularly focusing on the rights of women, children, marginalised groups, persons with disabilities. Iva has served in various roles, including a role as an advisor, mentor, project manager and consultant, collaborating with NGOs, public institutions (Ombudsman, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy) and international organizations (such as UNICEF, World Bank). She is also an active member of several professional bodies, contributing significantly to social inclusion and gender equality initiatives.
