On 10 March 2025, we successfully launched a new e-learning course on Migration Governance at the Local Level with introductory webinars for participants.
The course is designed to empower professionals from local governments and their associations, civil society representatives, and migration practitioners, and it provides practical tools and knowledge to navigate the complexities of migration governance. It is offered in English and in the languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Throughout the course, which spans over three weeks, participants will explore migration trends, governance frameworks, and local-level dynamics of migration, and learn about practical tools for data collection, policy implementation, and social integration. Furthermore, through various modules, participants will get insights into strategies for gender-sensitive and conflict-informed migration management and case studies and best practices from across the region.
The e-course is developed within the project “Exchange of good practices on sociocultural participation of people on the move in host communities in the Western Balkans”, implemented by NALAS in cooperation with GIZ, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
