Our Members

The Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe has full members, associate members and honorary members. NALAS currently unites 14 full members from South-East Europe, each represented by a “Liaison Officer”. The Liaison Officers form a Committee of Liaison Officers. The supreme body of NALAS is General Assembly, in which each full member is represented by two elected representatives.

The associate members are associations of local authorities of countries outside South-East Europe, international associations of local authorities, bodies active in the local-authority sector, foundations, international and European organisations, nongovernmental organisations and donors. The associate members have consultative status in the General Assembly. All associate members appoint together two representatives for the Committee of Liaison Officers.

Honorary membership is given to individuals who have served the association with distinction.
